Supernova Easy is the new band around songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Nick Furrer. The band introduces themselves with their self-titled album 'Supernova Easy' which will be released on 21. february 2025.
Like a supernova in space, the live band consisting of Nick Furrer on drums and vocals, Cori Nora on bass and vocals and Lidia Beck (Lost in Lona) on guitar and vocals releases unknown energies through their music. Supernova Easy’s interwoven, shimmering and dreamy sound allows you to dive in and float along with the frequencies. It’s the kind of music to carry you away and forget about everyday life for a little moment. So do the musicians - they readily relinquish control and renounce fixed roles: the focus lays on the collective and their playful exchange on stage.
Nick's versatility and curiosity constantly take him to new musical places, most recently as a long- standing band member of the internationally touring Swiss band Black Sea Dahu or as solo artist Haubi Songs. On the new album and in band context, he’s giving space to his long-standing collaboration with Cori Nora, who was involved in the album's creation process.
In his artistic process Nick reflects upon ideas of masculinity and calls for vulnerability, painting a sonic universe of apocalyptic future romanticism. He is inspired by genre-transcending artists such as Tirzah or Beck.
