When a melody flies towards you as if by magic, you know you're on the right track. That's the story behind Lockdown, Supernova Easy’s third single. Nick produced the musical framework for it during the first lockdown. The song is about how difficult it can be to give up control, embrace the unknown and let yourself go. Anuk Schmelcher's backing vocals add a new colour and a second perspective as the monologue gives way to a dialogue. When sung it together, the described uncertainty seems less frightening - and actually quite exciting!
